Ignition Will Not Switch On
If the ignition does not switch on, describe the whole sequence rather than only the final symptom. We assess supported electronic causes and agree what needs checking on the vehicle.
Describe the response
Tell us whether the doors unlock, the dashboard wakes, a key message appears, or there is no response at all. Note whether the problem started after a flat battery, a repair, module replacement, water exposure or an interrupted programming attempt. These are useful observations, not a diagnosis.
Send the existing evidence
Include the vehicle model and year, dashboard photographs and any available diagnostic report. If a workshop cannot communicate with a module, say which one and attach the original report. Retain the full fault text and code rather than sending only a general description.
Assessment before parts
The enquiry is used to plan the diagnostic work. We do not confirm a key, immobiliser or module replacement from a photograph alone. Depending on the case, the next step may require the complete vehicle rather than a module sent separately.
Agree the scope
Before a visit, we discuss access, location, the vehicle’s condition, the information already available and the intended checks. Any further work or replacement parts are agreed separately. A diagnostic appointment does not automatically include every later repair.
The next step
Use the contact form with photographs. Tell us if the vehicle is at a workshop and include the contact person for arranging access. Please do not remove or send modules until the required items and procedure have been agreed.
