Module Communication Diagnostics
A diagnostic tool failing to reach a module is a starting point for investigation. We assess the available evidence before recommending replacement or programming.
Keep the full report
Send the complete diagnostic report if you have one, including the modules that respond and those that do not. Tell us which diagnostic checks were attempted, when the symptoms began, and whether anything was fitted, disconnected or programmed beforehand.
Why a replacement may not solve it
The next checks depend on the vehicle and the reported symptoms. The scope may involve the module’s installation, power supply or communication with the vehicle. A no-communication message alone does not establish that cloning or replacement is the right solution.
Vehicle work or bench assessment
Some questions require checks on the complete vehicle. Others may justify assessing a specific module after the preliminary information has been reviewed. We agree the appropriate route before anything is removed or shipped.
Support for workshops
If you are handling the mechanical or electrical repair, send your findings and explain which specialist task you need. We can scope supported diagnostic, programming or data work around the evidence you already have.
Information to include
Provide the model, year, symptoms, module label photographs where available, the original report and the work already carried out. We then discuss feasibility, location and the intended result before booking.
