Module Replacement & Adaptation
Before purchasing or installing another module, have its compatibility checked. A matching appearance or connector does not by itself establish that a donor is suitable for the intended job.
Start with both module identities
Send clear label photographs of the original module and the proposed replacement, including part numbers and any visible hardware or software information. Add the vehicle model, year, reason for replacement and the original symptoms.
Define the required operation
A job may involve software, configuration, supported adaptation or a data-transfer assessment. Those are different operations. We specify what is proposed for the particular module and what checks will still be needed on the vehicle.
Keep the original
Where practical, retain the original module and do not discard it after fitting a donor. Its condition and the data that can be read from it may affect the options. Tell us if anyone has already modified it or attempted programming.
Do not ship without agreement
The correct set of items varies by job. We review the information first and confirm whether a bench assessment is appropriate, what needs to be supplied and who will perform the installation and final checks.
Price and result
Compatibility and feasibility are reviewed before quoting. The agreed result, any remaining vehicle work and the cost of additional assessment are stated before proceeding. No universal promise is made for every generation or module family.
